Our beginning

A movement that started with a simple observation.

In 2018, our founder saw a recurring gap among talented Ugandan youth: they had dreams but lacked the mindset, emotional tools, and mentorship to turn those dreams into reality. Low confidence, poor decision-making, and difficulty coping with failure often led to unemployment and unrealized potential.

Achievers Uganda began with small community workshops in Kampala. We now equip young people aged 10-25 with hands-on learning in growth mindset, emotional intelligence, and leadership.

Our mission

To equip young people in Uganda with the life skills, growth mindset, and emotional intelligence they need to become confident, purpose-driven leaders who thrive in school, work, and life.

Our vision

A generation of empowered young achievers who break cycles of poverty and limitation, transforming their communities and the nation through mindset-driven success.

The challenge

Young people need more than a classroom can provide.

Uganda has one of the youngest populations in the world, yet many youth leave school without critical soft skills such as self-belief, emotional regulation, and goal-setting. We make these practical skills accessible, relatable, and lasting.

  • Mindset training for real life
  • Emotional resilience and wellbeing
  • Leadership that serves communities

Achievers Mindset Program

A practical space for young people to discover themselves, build strong mindsets, and step confidently into their full potential.

The programme

A better way forward starts in the mind.

Achievers Mindset Program supports young people aged 10-25 to discover themselves and exploit their full potential. It develops the knowledge, skills, and practices needed to build a positive mindset for success in every area of life.

We also help parents connect with and guide their children through life’s ups and downs — teaching them to think independently, make good decisions, dream big, and work steadily toward those dreams.

Goal

  • 01 To empower young people with the mindset and skills they need to succeed in life.
  • 02 To enhance the capacity of parents and guardians to mentor their children.

Target

Young people aged 10 - 25, who want to learn powerful mindset skills that will enable them discover and choose the right path in life.

Scope

The Achievers Mindset Program is designed to cover all young persons in Uganda both in and out-of-school. The program will be implemented in the urban areas i.e. schools, communities, groups, places of worship, among others.
